Yoga Nidra, also referred to as "yogic sleep," is a process of meditation practiced for countless reasons including stress reduction, insomnia, and anxiety. Bringing this ancient practice into today's fast paced world can help us learn to quiet our minds and turn inward. Yoga Nidra invites your natural intelligence and intrinsic clarity to rise to the surface of your conscious mind, allowing you to uncover and access the wisdom and resources of your higher level of consciousness. 

In this guided meditation, you enter a profound state of receptive relaxation, all the while remaining alert. Yoga Nidra is done in a reclined, relaxed position (savasana) and you are guided vocally by the teacher. The class will end with gentle movements to slowly release from this deep state of relaxation. 

This practice is appropriate for all levels.
