Join Kate for this one hour, all levels, gentle yoga class to prepare runners for the upcoming Pittsburgh marathon. Participants will learn breathing, alignment, and stretching techniques to help prevent injury, ease anxiety, and maintain focus during their run, as well as restorative poses for post-run recovery. This class is also appropriate for walkers, hikers, bikers, or anyone supporting a runner.
Participation is by donation to the Peters Township Food Pantry. Please bring proteins like tuna, peanut butter, and stews. Or personal care items like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, or paper towels. Monetary Donations will be accepted as well.
