I know there are many of you, like me, that want to start a meditation practice but either don’t know where to start, or need the support of a group to stay committed. So I would like to start a meditation group at Lakeview Yoga. On Sunday October 9th at 10:30AM we are hosting an Intro to Meditation Workshop and information session. Valerie will begin the session with a brief talk about meditation's history, benefits, and different techniques. Then she will lead us through a guided meditation followed by a discussion and reflection. If you are unable to attend on the 9th, but are interested in joining the meditation group, please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) days and times that you are available to meet as well as any other feedback you would like to offer. With your feedback I believe we can make this group a success and help to support one another on this journey.
