Ayurveda, translated as the "science of life" is India's 5,000 year old medical system. In the present day, Ayurvedic principles can be applied to help manage common ailments such as anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, weight gain, fatigue, and insomnia. As a participant in this workshop, you will learn about the foundations of Ayurveda, assess your personal metabolic type, and receive information on diet and lifestyle choices that will help bring your body and mind back into balance. The workshop is led by Molly Culleton. Molly is a student of Sai Ayurvedic College and is working towards her Ayurvedic Practitioner certification.
Class will conclude with a Vata pacifying Restorative Yoga practice and guided meditation led by Kate Olson.
